#️⃣ Explorer lab
Hash Playground
Type anything and watch its SHA-256 fingerprint change completely — then become a miner and hunt for a hash that starts with zeros.
💡
The analogy
A blender for data: same fruit → same smoothie; change one grape → totally different smoothie.
1 · Fingerprint anything
2 · Avalanche effect
Compare two nearly identical inputs. Highlighted characters differ.
3 · Mine it yourself (Proof-of-Work)
Find a nonce so that SHA-256(data + nonce) starts with the required number of zeros. Each extra zero makes it ~16× harder.

🧠 What this lab teaches
- Same input → same hash; one letter changes everything.
- Hashes are fixed-length (64 hex chars for SHA-256).
- Mining is brute-force guessing — no shortcuts.
- Each extra leading zero multiplies the work by 16.
